Twenty-five
years ago, an animated cartoon about intelligent robots that can
disguise themselves as cars, trucks and other vehicles debuted. Since
then, these alien beings’ popularity has generated comic books, toys,
and even two feature films. Here is the first full season of the TV
show, featuring the benevolent Autobots and their opponents, the
Decepticons. The animation isn’t bad, and the episodes are
entertaining. After all, the Transformers and their never-ending
fictional war are now the subjects of a popular film franchise. –forrest green III
