Atlanta –
With Drake officially off the tour after reinjuring his ACL during the
show in Camden, N.J., Atlanta got a chance to check out his
“replacement”— Pleasure P.

“Drake is not on the tour — he is going to have
surgery on his ACL,” a representative for the tour said via e-mail,
adding that fans can check his Twitter page and blog for more
information.

P joins Jeremih as the only other R&B
act on the tour, which also features Nicki Minaj, Jae Millz, Soulja Boy
and Young Jeezy. While the show has varied much from city to city (check our review of the New York show ), there was a certain amount of extra electricity in the air, mostly because Atlanta is home for Soulja Boy and Jeezy.

“The
tour is off the chain,” Soulja Boy told rolling out backstage. Despite
the sweltering 100-degree heat, Soulja ripped his set before the
animated crowd at Aaron’s Amphitheatre at Lakewood. “It’s different
performing outside. You gotta step it up a notch. I’m just glad I got
people out there listening to my music, and people out there buying my
music.”

It was recently announced that the popular
tour will be extended through Sept. 6, and 10 new dates have been
confirmed, including stops in Florida, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio and
Wisconsin, bringing the total number of stops to 32.

“It
is amazing that Wayne continues to do great business given the current
state of the economy,” said tour producer-business manager, Shawn Gee,
in a statement. “He is truly laying the foundation for a strong career
as a touring artist. I think this shows when you deliver a great
package at an affordable price, the fans will come out and support
[you].”
