How has your relationship with T.I. been over the years?
It’s been a great one. We made a lot of history together. I got to be a
part of a lot of great things because of him. More than anything I
consider him a brother and a friend.
You said you consider him a brother. Can you talk about what it’s like to be friends with him?
I always called Tip an old soul. For a young dude he’s an old soul.
Sometimes he says things that sound like an old man [and] you forget
that he’s in his 20s.
What kind of advice have you given him as he prepares to go away?
… Tip knows what he needs to do. I tell him to keep his faith and stay positive.
