Janelle Monae and Solange Head to South by Southwest Festival
South by Southwest Music and Media Conference is underway in Austin, Texas, and the popular event is bringing out some of the best in music. Among the featured performers are Solange, Janelle Monae, Killer Mike, Rick Ross, deadprez and more. Recognized for assembling the best talents in a diversity of music genres, SXSW has become a staple for both established and burgeoning stars to showcase their skills. Bobby V and Yung Joc Shoot New Video
Bobby V, whose latest album, The Rebirth, is receiving rave reviews, shot the video for his newest single, “Hands On Me” featuring Yung Joc. The video, filmed at Zestos in Atlanta, is built around a 1950s “Happy Days” theme. The Rebirth debuted at No. 7 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and sold 64,000 copies in its first week.
