Novel – Suspended Animation

Every
now and then, a phenomenally talented artist comes around that major
labels just don’t know how to market. Novel is just that artist. He’s
been in the game for 10 years, and has written hit records for artists
like Alicia Keys, but he still doesn’t have an album. A rapper, singer,
writer and producer, Novel displays his wealth of talent and
frustration on his new mixtape, Suspended Animation. From the
woefully realistic title track, to the utopia-yearning “Dream World”
featuring Spree Wilson, to the sexy “Put It On,” Novel has crafted a
stellar release that’s better than most of the full-length albums out
