Zoe Saldana: Focused On A Mother’s Love

With excitement currently swirling around the release of the new Star Trek flick, one fact continues to be overlooked by critics: Zoe Saldana is a surefire star-in-the-making.

Having wowed audiences in Drumline, Vantage Point, and Guess Who, just to name a few, Saldana has now stepped into a role that may elevate her career to a new stratosphere.

But when it came time to share her thoughts on the new film, Saldana —
while excited —was more giddy about spending Mother’s Day with the
number one woman in her life. “My mother is my everything,” Saldana
shares. “And I’m looking forward to spending Mother’s Day with her to
show how much I care about her. She will be in New York with my sisters
