“Heroes” star Hayden Panettiere takes her popularity to the big screen with the fun teen flick I Love You Beth Cooper. When school nerd Denis Cooverman (Paul Rust) professes his love for Beth Cooper (Panettiere), you’d expect her to blow him off as happens so often in life. Not so. Cooper’s character vows to show Cooverman the time of his life, and that’s when the hilarity ensues. If the plot weren’t predictable, this critic would grade it much higher because Rust and Panettiere have a natural chemistry that plays out well on camera. –dewayne rogers
