J. Thurman was inspired to write The Man-You-All
after an intriguing conversation with a woman in an Atlanta nightclub.
The woman told Thurman that she was involved in a serious relationship
with a man who slept with men and women. Convinced that there is a
scarcity of suitable men, the woman decided to remain in the
relationship because her boyfriend took care of her financially. After
the conversation, Thurman decided to equip women with a guide that

Have a Plan:
“Women need a plan on how they approach a relationship. They have to be
specific on what they want. They have to get out of the idea of
settling and giving somebody a chance. Women have to always use their
intuition.”
Know Your Strength:
“Women can’t be afraid to run men away. A lot of times, they hinder
themselves. They are powerful beings, but they are afraid to expose
their true selves. Females concentrate on popular opinion instead of
being deliberate about what they want out of life.”
Love for Self: “The secret ingredient to finding a great love is to have a love for self.
Women should always be honest and not become blinded by perception. A
woman should be free from worrying about being judged for how [she]
really feels.”
