Robert Shumake’s 5 Secrets to Turn the Recession into an Opportunity
Robert
Shumake, CEO of the Inheritance Capital Group, a private equity real
estate investment and development firm, recently held his signature
Blueprint to Wealth Seminar in Detroit, featuring Internet guru, Matt
Bacak, who earns $75,000 a day teaching people how to become successful
via the Internet; and Ron LeGrand, who has trained more individuals in
real estate than anyone in the nation. Shumake shares how he is
capitalizing on the recession.
Vision –
“You must have one. During the 1929 Depression there were people who
committed suicide [while]others saw it as an opportunity. Look around
you. Even your neighborhood has an opportunity. Simplot-Spud Company is
the largest French fry Company in the world, who would’ve ever thought?”
Team – “Build your team. Ask yourself, who is on your team? Resources are needed more than ever before. Turn favors into capital.”
Marketing – “The
average business person will tell you they are cutting back on their
marketing budgets. In fact, they need to spend more on marketing now
than ever before. It’s less expensive than in the past and it separates
you from the competition.”
Information – “Use
this opportunity to overeducate yourself to learn something new that
you didn’t learn before. Research the latest technological tools to
advance your company or business.”
Access to Capital – “Stay close to the money people and money information. Align yourself with people who have the resources to gain capital.”
