Introducing Orianthi

alt

At 24, Australian-born Orianthi is doing an amazing job of mixing heavy metal rock with blues. Her voice is rich with soul and guaranteed to draw rock, country and pop fans from all corners to her sound. Her style is reminiscent of Jimi Hendrix and Carlos Santana (she had the honor of recording with the latter).
The budding artist has managed to make friends in high places, like Michael Jackson, who she was scheduled to perform with on his tour in London. Orianthi’s  new album Believe is one that rates on the level of Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkston, or Miley Cirus. Songs like “Bad news,” and “According to You,” have an up-tempo rock beat, and the gutsy vocals belted out by the songstress firmly set the tone for the album.  This young star on the rise is making a statement, and fans should expect to great things to come.
