Sultry singer Keyshia Cole is pregnant by Cleveland Cavaliers guard Daniel “Boobie” Gibson. Cole and Gibson were recently seen handing out turkeys prior to Thanksgiving and she was rocking a baby bump.
Also, it was reported on “The Two Live Stews” syndicated sports radio show that Cole has moved to Cleveland to be near Gibson, a shooting guard who comes off the bench for the Cavs. It’s no secret that the two have been dating for an extended period of time.
Gibson is the teammate of superstar LeBron James. His long-range, sharpshooting ways were a major factor in leading the Cavs to their first and only NBA Finals appearance in 2006.
Cole has maintained a low profile during the past couple of months. But Cole and Gibson appeared at Bethany Baptist Church to give out bags of groceries and turkeys and her delicate condition was undeniable. She had previously denied pregnancy rumors that surfaced as far back as September.
The hard-edged soul singer and former star of BET’s ratings-busting “The Way it Is” reality series, would not be the first member of her family to deny pregnancy rumors. Cole’s sister, Neffe, the star of the BET reality show spinoff “Frankie and Neffe,” also denied that she was pregnant — again — by her longtime boyfriend, the rapper Soullow, earlier this year. –terry shropshire
