T.I. could be the luckiest felon in America. After attempting to buy several machine guns and silencers in 2007, T.I. was sentenced to 366 days in a federal prison but was recently released after serving only seven months.
T.I. will serve the remainder of his sentence at a halfway house in the metro Atlanta area.
Although T.I. had 32 previous arrests prior to his conviction on gun charges, he showed contrition by serving over 1,000 hours of community service. He spoke to teens across the nation and encouraged them to avoid the mistakes that he made.
In March, T.I. will be released from the halfway house and will have to serve an additional 23 days under house arrest and perform 500 hours of community service. –amir shaw
