Gaines Adams of the Chicago Bears recently became the latest NFL player to die before the age of 30. Adams, 26, died of a cardiac arrest that was likely caused by an enlarged heart. After starring at Clemson University, Adams was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and was later traded to the Chicago Bears.

Cause of Death: Smith and Cooper died of hypothermia after their boat flipped over off the coast of Florida.

Age: 26
Cause of Death: Died in December after falling off the back of a truck during a domestic dispute with his fiancée.
