Another star athlete for the Pittsburgh Steelers will possibly be facing criminal charges for an incident that occurred in a nightclub. Anshonoe Mills has filed a civil lawsuit against Santonio Holmes for an incident that allegedly occurred at the Rain Nightclub in Orlando, Fla., on March 7.
Mills is accusing Holmes of throwing his drink and glass at her after he became irritated because she was sitting on a couch. She also claims that Holmes and a police officer attempted to talk her out of pressing charges. Holmes has proclaimed his innocence and has yet to be charged by police.
The Steelers’ star quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger, is being investigated by Georgia authorities for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman at a bar in Milledgeville, Ga., on March 5. –amir shaw
