Tiki Barber has decided to walk away from his wife of 11 years, Ginny Barber, who is currently pregnant with twins. Barber, an NBC broadcaster and former star running back for the New York Giants, reportedly decided to separate from his wife to be with 23-year-old Traci Lynn Johnson.
Johnson and Barber met when she served as an intern at NBC several months ago. The two apparently developed a relationship and were spotted together at different events in New York and Washington, D.C.
Although Barber was once known as a dedicated family man, he may have picked up his cheating ways from his father. In an interview conducted in 2004, Barber revealed why he was frustrated with his father for leaving their family.
“I don’t give a s— that the relationship didn’t work,” he said. “Not only did he abandon her, I felt like he abandoned us for a lot of our lives. I have a hard time forgiving that.”
