Rapping is the only occupation that Lil Wayne is familiar with. Since he joined Cash Money records at the age of 11, Lil Wayne was never obligated to seek employment or punch a time clock. But now that he is currently a prisoner at Rikers Island, he has been forced to work his first job outside of rap.
According to Lil Wayne’s ex-wife, Antonia Carter, the pint-sized emcee has obtained employment in prison. “Wayne has a job — they got him on suicide watch for prisoners,” she said in a recent statement. “He watches the crazy prisoners and makes sure they don’t kill themselves. He likes the job even though they don’t pay him much.”
Although hanging out with people on the verge of killing themselves could be very depressing, it’s slightly better than cleaning prison toilets with a tooth brush. –a.r.
