Nas isn’t pulling down the paper that he used to, according to the support burdened rapper. After being ordered to pay ex-wife, Kelis, spousal support of $10K a month, an undisclosed amount of child support and $87K in back spousal pay, he’s asking the judge to raise up off his bleeding wallet.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the exorbitant order was based on income “God’s Son” is no longer bringing in. Nas was reportedly making $152,031 a month, at the time, but says he now makes “substantially less than that amount.”
Nas’ lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, is asking the judge to reconsider the order and take into account the rapper’s current financial status.
