Just weeks after his rumored death, singer Bobby Brown is making news again, but this time it’s on the good foot, er, knee!
During the singer’s performance at the annual Funk Fest concert in Jacksonville, Fla., Brown proposed to his manager-girlfriend of three years, Alicia Etheridge. Etheridge was once a good friend of Bobby’s ex-wife, Whitney Houston.
Fans attending the Metro Park concert witnessed Brown get down on bended knee to propose to Etheridge, with whom he has an 11-month old son, Cassius.
Brown hasn’t made music in years, short of his throwback performances with his former group, New Edition, but he is certainly keeping his name in the news. He’s currently being whipped into shape on VH1’s “Celebrity Fit Club.”
Brown will unveil his new physique just in time for his wedding — Etheridge said “yes.” –christian johnson
