Rihanna countersued Percival after the trainer filed a law suit for $26,144 in unpaid fees. Percival claims that she was hired by Rihanna at a cost of $1,500 per day and did not receive payments in September and October of 2009. But, Rihanna isn’t the only celebrity embroiled in legal trouble.
Here are five celebrities who can’t stay out of the court room. –a.r.
1.) Lil Wayne– Before going to jail in March, Lil Wayne may have spent as much time in court as he did in the studio. While dealing with gun possession and drug charges, Lil Wayne was also sued by Jim Jonsin, the producer of “Lollipop,” for unpaid royalties. Bangladesh, the producer of “A Milli” is also suing Lil Wayne for not paying royalties.
2) Naomi Campbell Naomi Campbell knows how to keep her attorney busy. The super model has been sued by her ex-maid for abuse, a cosmetic company sued her for breach of contract and the model was also subpoenaed by judges in Sierra Leone for accepting a blood diamond from an African warlord.
3) Dwyane Wade-The Miami Heat super star seems to be in court every other week to deal with the ongoing feud he’s having with his estranged wife, Siovaughn Wade. Siovaughn has desperately tried to tarnish Dwyane’s image and even sued his girlfriend, Gabrielle Union. Siovaughn is currently looking for a new attorney after nine lawyers have dismissed themselves from her case.
4) Suge Knight– The courtroom has become a second home for Suge Knight since his days as the CEO of Death Row Records. In the past 12 months, Knight has sued Kanye West for failing to protect him and was recently arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.
5) Katt Williams– Katt Williams’ strange behavior over the past year has led to several lawsuits. He was sued for $230,000 in December 2009 by a former assistant, a studio owner sued him for $28,000 for not paying for studio time and he was sued by a man who claimed that Williams instructed his dog to bite him.
