Can Bow and Ciara resurrect their love? That was the talk around the Atlanta premiere of Bow Wow’s latest flick Lottery Ticket when Ciara made a surprise appearance. As she strolled into the theater, everyone wondered if this might be an opportunity for the pair to rekindle their once very public romance. When asked about the possibility, Bow Wow quickly shot down the notion of them ever reuniting.
“I was just as shocked as everybody else was,” he said. “I’m happy that she came out and enjoyed the movie. I saw that she had tweeted about it so I hit her back and said ‘Thanks, I definitely appreciate it.’ But you know how that is, the moment people see us even close or near each other it starts raising eyebrows, but no, I’m totally focused on the project at hand and my career right now. That’s all I will be focused on. I wish her the best of luck. … We’re growing older, we’re maturing and we’re adults and we’re able to go to each other’s events. We’re not the only ex-couple I’ve seen support each other, so it shows growth and it’s all good.”
I’m sure those words will do nothing to quiet those looking for a story. But wouldn’t it be poetic justice if the pair actually did get back together? Once at the top of their respective crafts, lately there hasn’t been much to talk about in either of their careers. Perhaps them finding their way back to each other could also reignite their once budding careers. You never know. –djr.
