NBA Star Carmelo Anthony Threatens Kat Stacks on Twitter and Later Claims His Page Was Hacked

Carmelo Anthony apparently had too much time on his hands on Aug. 28. While answering questions from his fans that included, “What’s your favorite movie,” and “What pair of Air Jordans do you like the most,” Anthony got involved in a Twitter spat with Kat Stacks that went overboard.

Kat Stacks, a vixen who has become famous for sleeping with rappers, tweeted that Anthony was in a hotel with a groupie and the NBA star and his wife La La Vazquez both responded. Anthony Twitted, “I got 5K for whoever ay @ihatekatstacks and slap the s–t out her pigeon face a–. Real talk. U f— with the right one now.” Melo even sent a Twit picture of money on a bed (yfrog.com/jph8stj). Soon after, Vazquez tweeted to Kat Stacks that she was only going to give her one warning. By Sunday afternoon, Anthony tweeted that someone hacked into his Twitter account and sent the threatening comments.

However, it’s highly likely that Anthony decided to claim that his Twitter page was hacked after realizing how one tweet could have disastrous effects on his career. If someone reacted to Anthony’s Twitter threat against Kat Stacks, he could have been held liable for the violence. NBA commissioner David Stern may also look into the incident and could suspend or fine Anthony for his poor judgement. Celebrities who have a reputation to uphold should use Twitter cautiously. Every tweet can be held against them.a.r.
