Now that Lil Wayne is forced to spend the majority of his days in solitary confinement thanks to a May cell phone bust, the rapper has some words for his fans: “stop sending me letters.”
The rapper made the request on Twitter when the following message was posted to his account yesterday.
“I can no longer write my fans, as difficult as this maybe [sic] to say please stop sending me mail, I luv u and will see you soon”
The letter-writing campaign began shortly after he began his sentence, when he encouraged fans to send mail through his WeezyThanxYou Web site. Now that his Nov. 4 release date is on the horizon, the letters apparently have to stop. –djr
