Helmut Seifert, 47, was livid after he discovered that his 17-year-old daughter was dating and having a sexual relationship with a 57-year-old man.
In an attempt to end the relationship, Seifert went to police in the German town of Bielefeld to report the odd relationship to authorities. However, the police told the man that they could not stop the two from seeing each other.
Seifert then showed up to the 57-year-old’s with two other men and forced his daughter’s boyfriend to remove his trousers. Sefert then castrated the man and walked away with his severed penis.
The victim nearly bled to death until he called authorities and was rushed to the hospital. Seifert will face attempted murder charges.
Seifert’s willingness to protect his daughter at all costs was admirable, but his actions were senseless. He could spend years in prison and his daughter is certain to be traumatized by the incident.
The victim is also at fault. Although the laws of attraction are powerful, he should have respected Seifert’s wishes and broken off his relationship with the 17-year-old. –a.r.
