Rapper Game fired off on Twitter that he was robbed of $75,000 in cash and several pieces of jewelry on Christmas Eve.
The Compton, Calif., rapper claims the valet at the Westfield Topanga Mall in Canoga Park, Calif., is the culprit. After returning to his friend’s vehicle after finishing his shopping, he said he noticed that his stacks of Benjamins were gone along with jewelry.
Game shared the news of the robbery via Twitter: “Topanga Mall Nordstroms valet is janky as F—!!! They gotta a lil stealing ring goin, PARKS YA OWN S— from now on!”
Game said when he tried to report the grand theft of his items to police, they instead insulted him: “So, heres my day: tried 2 do last minute shoppin 4 da kids & valet stole a Louis Duffle out @avanterose’s car & we 2 chains & $75,000 short. So police come & guess who get patted down ? Yea, US !!! then they tell us da palmtree was blocking the crime scene on the tape.”
Game said the police were incompetent, uninterested, or both, and they did little to help recover his ends. “Then after 4 hrs of no answers we drivin off & da most racist of all da cops gone say: ‘Thats a sweet ride man.’ WHAT ?!? B—-, investigate,” Game tweeted.
Finally, after a Christmas Eve to forget, Game issued an unmistakable declaration of war against the alleged thieves: “They aint seen the last of us tho. Soon after xmas is over….IT’S ON you thieving mothaf—as !!! If u dont get a gift tomorrow THAT’S WHY & me or @avanterose couldnt do s— cuz both are dumb ass’s on parole. Ole’ Yes officer, No officer ass ni—-s we was!!!”
Many reading this are, of course, going to be naturally curious as to why Game would leave $75,000 in the vehicle and leave it in a place where it could be lifted — or, better yet, why he would be driving around with it in the first place. —terry shropshire
