I believe this community deserves a voice and there’s a need for examples of progressive gay people.

I haven’t earned money from it yet.
How do readers respond to you? How many readers do you get to your blog per day?
The readers respond quite positively. They are the reason I continue to do it. I average about 500 per day.
How do you link to other bloggers and get the word out to others that you have a blog? Is connecting to other bloggers important?
I’ve partnered with other bloggers by adding them to my blog roll and being added to their blog rolls. Aligning with other bloggers is critical. It’s a determining factor in your success
What role does Twitter play in your life? Facebook? LinkedIn?
Twitter is quite important. The only reason I created a twitter account was to promote my blog. Facebook is equally important.

Do you consider yourself a journalist?
No, but [I am] a writer.
What do you do when you’re not blogging?
I write stage plays, greeting cards, wedding vows and I’m an HIV/AIDS activist.
