Apparently, chain snatching is still all the rage on the hip-hop scene as evidenced by the recent incident involving Young Money rapper Gudda Gudda.
While performing the hit “Bedrock” with fellow labelmate, Mack Maine, during a co-headlining show in Minnesota, Gudda was ambushed by a reported member of a Cambodian blood gang, who snatched Gudda’s black and red diamond- encrusted yellow gold Young Money dog tag and proceeded to run away.
Gudda was caught on a video sent to Hip Hop Wired chasing after the thief and punching him repeatedly before security intervened.
Of course, no modern-day robbery or beatdown would be complete without a requisite tweet, which Gudda provided shortly after the incident.
“Great show in minessota [sic] until this bum ass n—- tried to snatch my chain and didnt make it out the club wit it! nice try p—-!” tweeted Gudda.

All’s well that ends well, but will we ever see an end to chain snatching? –nicholas robinson
