Atlanta’s embattled “So Icey” rapper Gucci Mane, and pop’s reigning princess Britney Spears are set to hit the studio and record a song titled “Hit” for her upcoming album.
According to RumorFix.com, Gucci revealed the strange collaboration to them last week, explaining that he’s been a fan of the pop star’s music for years and jumped at the chance to work with her.
“Britney’s so icy,” explains Gucci, “I’m going to make her go, ‘Brrr.’ ”
Gucci and Britney are scheduled to begin recording the track this week at MiZay Entertainment in Atlanta.
Although it seems like an unlikely pairing, both artists are infamous for crazy antics. Just last week Gucci made headlines for tattooing his face with an image of a triple scoop ice cream cone to symbolize his “icy” appeal.
However odd it may seem, this may indeed be a match made in heaven for the two.
“[She’s] raw and exciting,” said Gucci. “She’s crazy. We like to get down like that.”
