Kanye West, Diddy and Rick Ross; Hip-Hop's Biggest Stars Set to Takeover NBA All-Star Weekend

Hip-hop and hoops go together like cake and ice cream, peanut butter and jelly, beans and weiners .. you get the drift. So it comes as no surprise that the NBA’s most celebrated weekend is filled with hip-hop stars who are hosting parties, concerts and participating in official NBA activities.

Kanye West – Hip-hop’s most controversial figure stayed home during the Grammy Awards, but he will get a chance to rock the Staple Center during the halftime festivities of the NBA All-Star game on Sunday. West will be joined by Rihanna.

Diddy – Whenever there’s a hot event in sports, music or entertainment, Diddy will find a way to make his presence felt. Diddy will host a party every night during NBA All-Star weekend. He begins with his “Diddy invade Hollywood” party on Friday, Feb. 18, where he will perform along with Young Jeezy at the Titanium All-Star weekend event.


Rick Ross – Rick Ross will team up with Nicki Minaj to host the NBA All-Star Celeberity kickoff. The biggest boss will also perform live at the South Beach meets Hollywood party.

Other hip-hop and R&B acts who will perform during NBA All-Star weekend include: Keri Hilson, Bruno Mars, 50 Cent, Ciara, Fabolous, Young Jeezy, Trina, Young Money and Trey Songz. –amir shaw
