6 Men Arrested in Shooting Incident Involving Waka Flocka Flame’s Tour Bus

altNearly a week after rapper Waka Flocka Flame’s tour bus was shot at in Charlotte, N.C., police arrested six suspects in connection with the shooting.

According to wcnc.com. the six men, Andre Sellers, Antoine Washington, Xavier Hoover, David Bellamy, Barry Lawrence and Antonio Stukes, have been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery and two counts of felony shooting into occupied property.

Charlotte police are claiming that the six men were attempting to rob Flame of his jewelry while the rapper was attempting to get a sound system upgrade for his tour bus at a local store.

However, Stukes, who was shot in the shoulder during the shootout, is alleging that he was just an innocent bystander who wanted to meet Flame and give him a demo CD. Both he and his attorney, Adam Seifer, are claiming that it was Flame’s entourage who fired first.

“I was expecting someone in the entourage to be arrested,” said Seifer. “My client ended up getting shot and having to go to the hospital, and, in the end, he ends up getting arrested. I’m absolutely shocked.”

Kali Bowyer, Flame’s publicist, is disputing Stukes and Seifers claim, instead alleging that Flame’s entourage acted appropriately in self-defense.

“When shots were fired, they followed the appropriate protocol. They are licensed to be carriers; that is their job — to protect,” said Bowyer, adding that there is video evidence to prove their defense. “They stand by the fact that the surveillance shows clearly that they were the ones being attacked.”
