On Monday, Hudson took to Twitter to ask her fans what they thought about a possible tour between the two.
“I c alot of u guys want to see more of me n Christina together . What yal think about us touring together ?” tweeted Hudson.
Shortly after her tweet, Hudson clarified that the tour was simply an idea that she was mulling over.
But the idea of these two dynamos touring together is an idea that’s not to be taken lightly, both of the singers would stand to gain by touring with each other.
After suffering mixed reviews for her fourth album, Bionic, and seeing it tank on the album charts as well as having her summer tour postponed due to time constraints, Aguilera could stand to team up with another powerhouse vocalist to remind fans just how strong of a live vocalist she is.
After giving herself a well-received makeover and becoming the new spokesperson for Weight Watchers, Hudson now teeters between remaining a certified soul singer and becoming a crossover pop hit.
With her sophomore album, I Remember Me, dropping next month, a joint tour with Aguilera could introduce her and her stellar voice to a new audience and help her solidify her place in pop music.
