It’s five years later, and Rare Jewel isn’t just a program or activity; it’s a digital comic, Apple application.
“Rare Jewel is a symbol of women’s power and their inner strength,” offers Hood.
Hood’s company, Marvelous Light Empowerment (MLE), partnered with Amarios Art Academy to create Rare Jewel, a character who serves as a tool “to combat the evil effects of domestic violence, substance abuse, stress, low-self esteem or any such thing in the lives of women of all age and to honor and celebrate women who exude the essence and characteristics of the Proverbs 31 Woman.”
She continues, “How I got to this place is nothing short of a blessing. Now, I am using the same qualities – faith, trust and hope – to get the word out about all the things we are doing to empower others to dare to dream.”
MLE hosts an annual girls getaway, the “Dare to be Beautiful” weekend retreat, which is coming up April 29 through May 1, 2011.
“The retreat is for women from ALL walks of life who are searching for their true selves. We help discover your gifts, motivate you to operate in the gift(s) and protect the gifts,” she closes. Men are invited to the Rare Jewels Awards Banquet.
Rare Jewel is available in 89 countries and deployed for the iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch applications. –yvette caslin
Please support Amario’s Art Academy for the Gifted and the Rare Jewel Comic Series by downloading the App to your free I-Tunes program – even if you do not own an Apple product. The cost is $1.99 and will help support the missions of both the Academy and the entire Rare Jewel program that empowers young girls and the main character in the comic book, The Pearls Among Us, a “supernatural warrior who helps you to discover and protect your dreams and visions.”
