The Suge Knight lawsuit against Kanye West is no more. Reports have surfaced that the former Death Row Records impresario has dropped his civil lawsuit against West.
Knight had been seeking millions of dollars in damages after receiving a gunshot wound in his leg at a 2005 Miami Beach party hosted by West. The lawsuit alleged that because of lax security, West was at fault for Knight’s injury.
In December, a judge filed a summary judgment in favor of West — a judgment Knight’s lawyers originally appealed. Now that appeal has been dropped; the matter is officially closed. –djr
