“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes has been blasting her “Celebrity Apprentice” castmate Star Jones for months, but now that those two are allegedly trying to mend fences, their fellow castmate La Toya Jackson is now revealing that she’s not a fan of Jones either, claiming she’s “mean.”
During a recent trip to “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” Jackson was asked if she had a difficult time working with Jones on “Celebrity Apprentice.”
“I think everybody has a hard time with Star. I really do,” said Jackson.
Seemingly reluctant to say anything too negative about Jones, DeGeneres bombarded Jackson with questions about Jones’ attitude until she finally commented on Jones’ behavior as well as provided a surprisingly comical comment about her weight loss.
“OK, she’s mean … and I mean, mean, because I always say, if I had lost that much weight I would have been so happy and pleased with myself,” Jackson said in reference to Jones’ highly publicized gastric bypass surgery. “[There’s] something inside that’s hurting her to react that way to everyone. And that’s just her; she can’t help it. And I just wanna say, ‘can’t you just put a smile on your face sometimes?’ ”
