I’m headed to Florida soon for my kids’ spring break, and you know you can’t go any place that has warm weather without your swimsuit! I’m the first to say that I don’t swim as much as I’d like to, but I’m in need of a great swimsuit for the beach or pools down in Orlando and here at home.
The new swimsuits that Spanx launched last year came to mind, so I quickly went to the site. I fell in love with so many, but I had to narrow it down to three. I’m leaving in a few days, so I had to make a decision fast.
My first choice was the Bra-llelujah! Soft Chain One Piece, then the High Banded One Piece, then the High Style Bandeau One Piece. After carefully making my final selections and calling, the only one available in my size was the High Banded One Piece, which was fine with me and was really cute with the ruffle top. I thought it looked darling in the picture, but, as far as swimsuits are concerned, I prefer the color black rather than pink … just this time!
When I received the swimsuit, I must say it fit as snug as a bug in a rug! I love how its pulls you in in all the right places, and my boobs are covered nicely. It also smoothed out my mid section, and, after birthing two kids by C-sections, I do have a tummy pouch in front.
As far as my rear, it’s also covered in the right areas. The Spanx swimsuit felt great and not too tight either. It come in sizes 6-16, so that’s a good thing. It wasn’t cutting my upper thighs, and I could sit and stand without getting a wedgie.
This particular suit retails for $178.00. My friends at Spanx also threw in a nice sarong in sheer creme. They must know that I do not like to show my thunder thighs. Summer is fast approaching, and my kids and I stay at the pool when it gets to be over 90 degrees here in Atlanta, so both the swimsuit and sarong certainly will be put to good use.
Thanks, Spanx, for making this fabulous swimsuit. I love it to pieces, and it’s going to make my summer!
