Iconic hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is no stranger to courtrooms and lawsuits and now the 41-year-old mogul is set to endure another legal battle after an Atlanta man filed a lawsuit against Diddy and his entertainment company, alleging several of Diddy’s bodyguards assaulted him.
According to ajc.com, the lawsuit was filed last Friday, March 15, in Dekalb County State Court by Jabari Tilgham, 30, who claims that he was assaulted last October while working as a photographer at Club Mansion Elan. Tilgham also listed four unnamed bodyguards as well as Club Mansion Elan as defendants.
According to Tilgham’s attorney, Jeffrey Gewirtz, on the night of the incident, Diddy co-hosted a BET Awards show afterparty along with Rick Ross at the Dekalb County club. Tilgham, who was one of 12 photographers snapping shots of celebrities at the event, was allegedly singled out by Diddy’s personal security team and beaten by the guards. The incident was confirmed in a signed affidavit by a security guard employed by the club.
Diddy nor a representative have commented on the lawsuit.
