Artropolis, Chicago’s own “celebration of art, antiques and culture,” took place recently in Chicago. Artropolis, created by Chris Kennedy and his Merchandise Mart organization, includes a trio of art fairs from Art Chicago, NEXT and the Merchandise Mart International Antiques Fair. The event is staged in Chicago’s Art Deco Merchandise Mart building, located on the Miracle Mile.
