Slimming down from a size sixteen to a six in less than a year, Grammy Award-winner Jennifer Hudson has signed a publishing deal with Dutton for her weight loss memoir. E! Online reports that the Weight Watchers spokesmodel made a conscience choice to improve her fitness after her pregnancy with her son, who turns two in August. Now that she has made a dramatic change, “Hudson wants to inspire anyone coping with weight issues, share some of her own best tips for losing and maintaining weight loss, fitting in exercise and keeping it fun.” It seems that she has joined forces with Beyonce and our First Lady, Michelle Obama in order to encourage adults as well as children to stay active and get fit!
The new slogan penned by the songstress, “It’s like a brand-new me” will head the campaign for her untitled book. The memoir is expected to be released in January and will focus on Hudson’s “experience growing up in an environment where healthy living was not a priority.” She has not released a definite statement that she will reveal her rapid weight loss secrets, however one would assume that she would apply the “tell all” approach if this book is supposed to help the millions people who battle with weight loss overcome their issues with unhealthy eating like she did. My hopes are that she will refuse to deliver the typical “Hollywood influenced” weight loss story and keep it real in a way that readers can truly relate and of course snub all the negative rumors that people have said about her weight loss methods, that is if they are not true.
