It’s InternetWeek time again in New York City. InternetWeek — an annual event — is running through place June 13 and includes: opening of Technology offices such as: Hashable, Google and Yahoo; lectures, great food and awesome swag bags to be given away. For the first time, this year TechUptown will be included in the lineup ofevents. TechUptown is the first time an event that is targeting African Americans and Latinos will take place during InternetWeekNY. TechUptown’s theme is What’s Next in Tech.
There will be a 30-minute discussion at 7:30 p.m. about the tools used to measure social influence. At 8 p.m. a panel discussion on What’s Next in Tech with tech leaders will include: Mike Street and Dupe Ajayi, founders of HarlemSocial.com and Influential1s.com; Danielle Holdman, founder of Urbane Perspective Magazine; Stephen Jackson, founder of RDZ Media Group; Louis Pagan, founder of LouisPagan.com; Kalimah Priforce of Qykno.com; Hadiyah Mujhid co-founder of Black Founders; and Sergio Lilavois, founder and partner of WeHarlem.com.
