Last week, NBA star Lamar Odom was involved in a near-fatal car crash in New York City that left a 15-year-old teen in serious condition after being struck by a motorcycle that was hit the car Odom was riding in. Tragically, the boy died days later from his injuries. Now, Odom and his wife, Khloe Kardashian, are paying their respects to the boy and his family by tweeting memorials for the slain teen.
“Thank you for your support and prayers! My thoughts and prayers are with the young boys family,” tweeted Odom on Tuesday, July 19.
Kardashian also took to Twitter the previous day to share her grief over the incident.
“My heart/soul goes out 2every1 in pain from any suffering. Pray 4 all of the angels surrounding us constantly. May our spirits stay strong. Above all, love each other deeply, b/c love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality 2 1another without grumbling 1 Peter 4:8-9. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own,” tweeted Kardashian.
The following day, in response to her husband’s tweet, Kardashian wrote, “Our love will give us strength! Love conquers ALL!”
According to RadarOnline, at the time of the accident, which took place in Jamaica Queens, N.Y., last Thursday, July 14, Odom was in town for a family funeral.
Well, kudos to both Odom and Kardashian for honorably sharing their sympathy to the boy’s family. –nicholas robinson
