Kreayshawn has been on the tips of everyone’s tongues as of late, for both her wildly popular music and her offensive language. And after one admirer in particular, Drake, set off rumors of a romance between the two with his praise of Kreayshawn last month, the “Gucci Gucci” rapper is now denying claims of a relationship with the Young Money emcee.
“No, that’s not my boo thing,” said Kreayshawn in a recent interview with Mina Say What. “We’re cute. Like I said, me and him, we’re both cute. We could be cute. But, I’m not trying to snatch Rihanna’s [man] or nothing like that. You know, I don’t know if the rumors is true but I’m a busy woman anyway.”
Rumors of a love affair began after Drake gushed over Kreayshawn during a radio interview on DJ Green Lantern’s “Invasion Radio” show and even flirted with her.
“She’s a little cutie pie, you know,” remarked Drake, prompting Kreayshawn, who’s openly bisexual, to respond, “You’re not so bad yourself there, Mr. rugged and handsome.”
Kreayshawn also spoke of her increasingly busy schedule, sharing that she’s recently interviewed with “Women Daily” (presumably Women’s Wear Daily) and shot with Japanese Vogue.
In regards to her upcoming, which has seemingly been delayed, Kreayshawn explains that the holdup isn’t due to a disagreement with her label.
“I made up a [release] date but I’m not the one in charge of making [dates] up,” said Kreayshawn. “It’s just, [when] you’re a new artist, everyone wants to talk to you. Even the label, they’re like, ‘We haven’t even had anybody do as much press and as much stuff as you’ve been doing.’ ”
Whether it’s her music, use of the N-word or her rumored flings, we’re sure Kreayshawn’s going to remain in the headlines for at least a little while longer, especially after that remark about a Drake and Rihanna love affair.
