The 2011 One Woman National Business Conference took over the Sugarland Marriott Town Center for a weekend of networking, next level growth and seminars. The 2011 theme, “Back-to-Basics,” highlighted the One Woman organization’s commitment to deliver on the promise to help attendees increase bottom-line performance through a specialized development track.
The conference also offered CEU credits and the opportunity to meet with key decision makers to share ideas and business trends in a more relevant and applicable manner. Journalist Lisa Ling delivered the opening breakfast keynote address and spoke about bringing a global perspective to your business and how to do it successfully. Opening days also featured the Soaring Heights Jazz Brunch, hosted by conference keynote speaker and award-winning marketing and communications strategist, Valeisha M. Butterfield. Among the local panelists were Jennifer Dean, author, motivational speaker, and CEO and president of Dean’s Professional Services; Marilyn Logan, author of I Can’t Afford to Marry You; and Susan Repka, executive director of The Women’s Business Enterprise Alliance.
