Amid growing controversy surrounding super producer Swizz Beatz and his “sexting” scandal with Christina Elizabeth, Swizz recently settled a dispute with a confirmed former flame. According to reports, Swizz has reached an official child-support deal with singer Zhanna “Jah’Na Sebastian” Andrianova, with whom he fathered a child in 2008.
According to the New York Post, Swizz and Russian-born Andrianova met in a London club in 2007 and in May 2008, Andrianova gave birth to their daughter, Nicole. Unsure of the paternity of the child, Swizz and his current wife, singer Alicia Keys, traveled to London in 2009 to take a paternity test that later proved that Swizz is indeed the father of Nicole.
According to the Post, the parents’ newfound settlement “comes after a prolonged back-and-forth between New York-based lawyers for Andrianova and Swizz.” Despite the protracted legal negotiations, sources say Swizz has been paying interim child support for his daughter and that a settlement with Andrianova was delayed due to her visa problems in the U.K., which kept her from traveling to the U.S., and her refusal to accept a settlement deal that Swizz offered a year ago.
Swizz’s attorney, Robert Anthony Evans Jr., shared a similar statement as the source, claiming, “Mr. Dean has never failed to deliver on his responsibility to his children.”
Currently, Swizz is the father of four children: 11-year-old son Prince Nasir, with Nicole Levy, 3-year-old daughter Nicole, with Andrianova, 5-year-old son Kasseem Dean Jr., with ex-wife Mashonda Tifrere and another son, 1-year-old Egypt, with Keys.
Besides coming to an agreement on child support, Swizz also agreed to pay Andrianova $42,000 to cover her legal fees.
Now, if Swizz could clear up his scandal with Elizabeth, perhaps he could get back to enjoying his “fly” marriage with Keys. –nicholas robinson
