Legendary milliner Albertus Swanepoel debuted a limited-edition hat collection at Target on October 14, 2011 and this writer just couldn’t wait to rock the two-toned brim, Francoise, with my Missoni for Target sweater.
The South African designer is the fashion capital’s go-to designer. He’s worked with all of the top designers including Narciso Rodriguez, Alexander Wang, Carolina Herrera and Diane Von Furstenburg. Now, he’s showing the masses a little love with 14 stylish designs that are available online and in stores until October 30, 2011.
During the National Black MBA Conference in Atlanta, Target’s team of executives including, Greg Cunningham, and Swanepoel came in town and treated select members of Atlanta’s posh communities like Toya Wright, Chilli, Tameka Foster Raymond, Shanti Das, Sheila Bronner, Kathleen Bertrand and a few others to a private dinner at the Mansion on Peachtree.
