As the paternity scandal of teen pop star Justin Bieber heats up, Mariah Yeater, the woman accusing Bieber of fathering her 3-month-old son, has now done her first TV interview to discuss the pop star and the night that led to a paternity lawsuit and public scandal.
In an exclusive interview with “The Insider,” Yeater explained to the TV newsmagazine the details of the when she claims Bieber impregnated her.
“He immediately took a liking to me and we just got to talking and then he eventually asked me, ‘Would you mind if we can go somewhere and be alone?’” Yeater told show host Kevin Frazier.
According to Yeater, Bieber, who was 16 at the time, led her to what “turned out to be a bathroom, and his whole demeanor changed.”
“It went from cute and gushy to just … more aggressive,” explained Yeater.
When asked how she felt about people not believing her claims, Yeater began weeping and explained that she will prove her case in court.
“I’ve provided evidence to my attorney’s and it will show in court to prove that my allegations are true,” said Yeater, before refusing to expound on her evidence.
“The Insider” recently interviewed a security guard who claims that on night of the alleged sexual tryst, he walked Bieber straight to his dressing room, which was filled with family and friends, before personally being escorted by the guard to his car.
When asked if she had anything to say about the security guard’s claims, Yeater simply responded, “no comment.”
Last week, Yeater alleged that she and Bieber had sex backstage bathroom at Los Angeles Staples Center following a concert in October of 2010.
“At the time I asked him to put a condom for protection, but he insisted that he did not want to,” said Yeater.
Yeater continued, “The sexual intercourse itself was brief, lasting only approximately 30 seconds. He [Bieber] was clearly embarrassed about how the sex did not last very long. He immediately put on his clothes and blew me off when I asked about seeing him again.”
Bieber and his legal team have adamantly denied Yeater’s claims and on a recent interview on NBC’s “Today” show, Bieber claimed he’s never met Yeater.
“Never met the woman. I’d just like to say, basically, that none of those allegations are true. To set the record straight, none of it is true,” said Bieber. “I know I’m going to be a target, but I’m never going to be a victim. It’s crazy, because every night after the show I’ve gone right from the stage right to my car. So it’s crazy that some people want to make up such false allegations.” –nicholas robinson
