Why do you think PPG has been so successful?

Well, I think we have been successful because we have a premise that we operate with character integrity and principle. We named the company the Principle Partnering Group because we wanted to endeavor these principles in everything that we did.

What are the upcoming plans for PPG?

We started a new division in January called the “Integrated Services Group” and we have already landed four contracts in our Energy space. I think that the green industry and league certification is where growth is. Our plan for growth is going to come out of that division more than any other division. Therefore, we’re going to keep fine tuning that by trying to develop our competencies in that space.

Describe the best day of running your business and making a difference in the community?

I think a good day is when you put together a deal that’s mutually beneficial for all parties and everybody can see where their revenue comes from and there’s no questions asked. To me that’s rewarding because we like to structure deals so that everybody feels like they did well. In the long run, it’s not about getting the most out of each deal, but positioning yourself for longer-term success. Then you can wake up in the morning knowing that you did your best.
