Many people were wondering if Lil Wayne could do the impossible; match the million-plus first-week sales of his Tha Carter III album with his recent release, Tha Carter IV. Though Tha Carter IV narrowly missed the mark (selling 964,000 units), the album still bowed in at No. 1 on the charts and secured another platinum plaque for Young Money’s head honcho.
