The Fugees Breakup … Again
After several years apart, iconic rap group The Fugees reunited at the 2005 BET Awards, performing together for the first time in years. The trio seemed poised to create a new album together and even released a new single. But just as quickly as they came together, the quickly grew apart. Months went by without any new music and eventually plans for a comeback album were dropped, with group members Pras and Wyclef Jean blaming eccentric emcee Lauryn Hill for the reunion’s failure.
