The trouble began in September 2010 when 50 commented on T.I.’s drug arrest, saying that Tiny should’ve taken the rap for her husband.
“Man, T.I. and Tiny done got picked up again for methamphetamine and ecstasy. Damn, man, Tiny gotta take that charge. Say it was yours, baby,” tweeted 50.
In one of the cover features for VIBE’s year-end issue, T.I. responded to 50’s comments about Tiny.
“I’ma tell you, 50 Cent and anybody else, we not gonna have no discussion about what my ole lady shoulda, woulda, couda done for anything as it pertains to me. We ain’t gonna do that. I’m the only one in my family that’s gonna take a lick when it pertains to the legal system. Since me, none of my other family members have seen a jail cell. Nobody. I’m the last one. The buck stops here. I feel that a person that stands behind [his woman for a criminal charge] is a coward anyway,” said T.I.
After reading T.I.’s comments about him, 50 Cent responded to the King of the South on Twitter.
“Man I just saw something T.I said in VIBE about a tweet I wrote when he caught his drug case,” 50 tweeted in Nov. 25. “He just got out a jam and caught a new one.”
“Any other time a ni–a done,” he continued. “Get caught with 10 machine gun an silencer then catch a drug charge. You will f–k around and get natural life… This boy got a get outta jail FREE card. Don’t get emotional over your lady. It a get you in some s–t you don’t want to be in.”
Despite his warning to T.I., 50 claims that he and his fellow emcee are not feuding, adding that he recently spoke with T.I.
“Look how much you fools have been tweeting about me and @Tip spoke to him last night you s–theads should be tweeting about streetking,” 50 tweeted on Nov. 26. “You know I try to do the right thing. I’m starting to feel like good guys finish last. You talk more about s–t that can go bad than positive things.”
Though this incident didn’t turn into a full-blown beef for 50, here are five other incidents where 50 seemingly couldn’t avoid a feud. –nicholas robinson
