This year’s hiring figure is comparable to previous years when Toys ‘R’ Us hired between 35,000 and 45,000 seasonal workers.
Each year, there are opportunities for high performing seasonal employees to take on extended roles, and in the past, many have moved from seasonal to full-time positions.
In fact, 10 percent of the 2010 holiday work force remains employed at Toys ‘R’ Us this year. The company says substantial long-term growth opportunities exist for hardworking seasonal employees.
