Miguel Angry Over Grammy Awards Snub: 6 Other Famous Grammy Snubs

Miguel Angry Over Grammy Awards Snub: 6 Other Famous Grammy SnubsOn Nov. 29, the nominees for the 54th Annual Grammy Awards were revealed at the Grammy Nominations Concert and as expected, many of the today’s leading artists were honored with nominations. But, like with every awards season, some artists were seemingly snubbed. One such artist to call “snub” was R&B newcomer Miguel, who, shortly after the nominees were revealed, announced that he was “pissed” about his Grammy Awards neglect.

The singer was apparently pissed about his album, All I Want Is You, being neglected by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. The album was released last fall and spawned the moderate chart hits “All I Want Is You” featuring J. Cole and “Sure Thing.” Unfortunately for Miguel, neither his album or its singles received any nominations.

Of course, Miguel wasn’t too pleased about that fact and decided to share his anger over Twitter.

“D***, this really hurts. Congrats to all the nominees,” tweeted Miguel, before letting loose his anger on the Twitterverse. “I’m f****** pissed, Yo. I don’t think I’m God’s gift to music, but I know the album or at least ‘Sure Thing’ should have been nominated,”

However, Miguel quickly calmed down and tweeted, “All G. I’ll work harder the,. BET,” and later congratulated J. Cole on his “Best New Artist” nomination. “Had an Emo moment and Almost forgot… MAJOR Congrats to my Bro @JColeNC. I’m rooting for you,” he tweeted.
